Baker/Russell Black Walnut

Off Highway OR-18, seven miles west of McMinnville, 17676 SW Oldsville Road. Planted in 1870 at stagecoach site. Can be viewed from Oldsville Road. Please be respectful of private property.



Ewing Young Oak

On Highway OR-240, .25 mile north of the highway, three miles west of Newberg. This oak tree marks the grave site of Ewing Young, whose death directly lead to the beginning of the organization of the Provisional Government of Oregon in 1843. The tree can be viewed from Highway 240, public access is limited. For details call the Travel Information Council at 800-574-9397 during business hours.

Willamette Mission Cottonwood

Off Highway OR-221, Wheatland Ferry Road to Willamette Mission State Park. The nation's largest Black Cottonwood near the site of the Willamette Mission established by Reverend Jason Lee in 1834.
